From new Market to International brand: your business could be the next big thing
Among the biggest mistakes made by business owners is assuming that their economy is rigid. They get complacent and believe that once they've carved out their place their job is finished.
But when it comes to business there's absolutely no time to rest on your laurels. As a result of the rate at which technology is evolving, markets are more liquid than ever. Keeping up with these changes is vital and if you don't do, your company may fall by the wayside.
By way of instance, businesses now have to make certain that their sites are optimized for use with mobile devices. Recent studies* have shown that more and more of us are getting the internet on mobile devices as opposed to laptops or desktop PC's. However, for sites to operate entirely on mobile devices they must be optimized for it. If your website does not work properly on a mobile then your clients are more inclined to proceed to your competitors!
We can't always predict the direction the market will go in, but it's very obvious that market changes aren't going to slow down anytime soon.
Turn that fantastic idea into a company NOW!
'Start-up' was a bit of a buzzword in the last 18 months. This is because an increasing number of companies are suddenly popping up. Why is this? These start-up ventures are getting to be possible because of additional resources being made available to entrepreneurs. These include grants, loans and other funding available especially to new companies, and a whole pile of online support.
For most these startup's, very little real equipment is necessary. A telephone, a laptop/Mac and access to the World Wide Web is some companies will need to get off the floor. Better still, as a result of huge competition by telephone, broadband and computing businesses, these elements of your company do not have to cost the earth ! You do not even need an office in the very early days!

Size does not matter (honest!)
'Niche' seems like it should be applied only to very small companies. In actual fact, even though most begin that way, a market actually refers to a specialized market, says the team at Liquid Brand Agency.
And just because something starts small does not mean it has to stay that way. All of us start life as tiny babies and we must grow and learn. A number of us increased and learn a bit faster than others, and that may be the exact same for businesses. Some experience slow growth while others have a stratospheric growth spurt.
Take for example, Instagram. Now just over five years ago Instagram did not even exist (it was made in October 2010). Now it's over 200 MILLION** users! What began as a market idea has quickly become a worldwide social media platform. Not only that but it's created niche companies of its own.
Bloggers, photographers and much more are using the platform to start their own ventures. Danielle Bernstein, a 22yr old blogger, is now very famous on Instagram. In fact she's over 1.2 million followers and that's the reason top fashion brands pay her to post images of their goods on her Instagram page. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar* she said that she could make between $5,000 and $15,000 for posting a single picture. Now that is what you call a profitable niche business!
In all seriousness however, stories like Danielle's are getting more common as people find a market and capitalizing on it!
The Future
Even with the support of a crystal ball nobody can predict what the future holds for almost any market. Here at ConnectPOS if you'd told us ten years ago that the point of sale applications we've now created would be possible we would not have believed you!
What's for certain is that what might appear as a very small niche now could be a badly profitable business by 2025. Now's the time to take that fantastic idea, exploit the fact that today is the ideal time to begin a new organization. If you roll up with the current market, the sky is the limit and your niche business could be the next big thing
